Gold Coast Beaches

The Gold Coast has arguably the best beaches in the world!

Our sub-tropical climate and long sunny fine days combine with our 42 kilometres of unpolluted, beautiful beaches to provide tourists with a fabulous experience. The beaches are patrolled by Surf Life Saving Queensland and individual surf clubs. 17 beaches, including Surfers Paradise, are patrolled on a year round basis, and between September and May a further 29 beaches are patrolled by volunteer Surf Lifesavers.
